New Years Eve, a time for hope and encouragement, is right around the corner. Take some time to plan for the big night!
Goals can be set and achieved all year long, but most people look at New Years as the start of something new – and a time to set goals. Think about your life today and then write out what you want your life to look like. What goals can you set around the life you desire? Remember to use the SMART Goal formula to set yourself up for success.
After you’ve come up with your SMART Goals, break the goal down into actionable tasks. Each and every day, make choices that support your goal. As you repetitively make the small decisions, you’ll find your life start to build toward your goal.
Let’s look at an example:
SMART GOAL: Lose 10 pounds by June 1, 2022.
Weekly Goal: Workout Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 9:00am.
Daily Goal: Make smart food decisions. Drink water, eat fruits and vegetables at every meal and eat nuts in-between meals as a snack.
