Being confident is a feeling that anybody can possess with the correct skillset. Confidence has been correlated to achievement, good relationships and being satisfied. Without confidence, people tend to be depressed or may end up in an abusive relationship. Let’s work on some skill sets that will improve your confidence, self-worth and self-love.

  • Exercise. I know, I know. We say this one all the time about so many different topics. But, it’s true! Exercise is a powerful skill set that anybody can improve on and it effects your life in so many positive ways.

“When you exercise, it increases endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline and endocannabinoid — these are all brain chemicals associated with feeling happy, feeling confident, feeling capable, feeling less anxiety and stress and even less physical pain,” Kelly McGonigal (health psychologist), says.

  • Knowledge. All people are created equal. Nobody has more or less a value then another person. Knowing this can help you defeat the thoughts that creeping in saying you’re not worthy.
  • Practice self-actualization. This is the realization of your own potential and practicing to manifest it into your experiences.
