During our new world, we were all thrust into a world of negativity and fear. It’s easy to succumb to those fears and feed the negativity into our brains – but what does it cost us to do so?

Gratitude is the answer to some of the negativity. Rather than streaming all the news and checking on ‘the numbers’ on a regular basis, try changing your thoughts to gratitude. Some days are easier than others – we get it! On days where you are struggling, start with being grateful for something that seems small and work your way up…

  • I woke up this morning – it’s a great day to be alive!
  • The sun is shining
  • Afternoon rainstorms that allow for a cozy, stay-in-bed sort of day
  • A roof over my head.
  • Food in my stomache
  • Technology that allows for FaceTime calls

There’s always something good to be found in each day. Highlight those rather than feed into the negative thoughts.
